Let me tell you about your grandmother from a friend's point of view. When I first met Elaine my children were 3 and 4. She always loved to invite us over for dinner and Brian and Stacey loved to play on your dad's bunk beds! She was always thoughtful and kind. She loved a party! Did you know I gave her a 40th surprise birhtday party? Wow was that fun! She loved it!!! I have a very special figurine she gave me. It's the Lord is my Shepherd from psalms 23. Everytime I look at it I'm reminded of her. She sure did love you and Jacob...You'll see her again one day and she'll be waiting up front for you! Bet on it!

When I sat down and started to think about you, I realized that so many of my earliest and fondest memories had you in them. Even though it has been so many years since I have heard you laugh, I can still clearly hear you and see your beautiful smile. I remember the last time I saw you-you, Mom, and Aunt Lin were playfully bickering, like you always did, over which one of you would get to be in the middle of those pictures you always took together on special occasions. I thank God that they have those memories to always cherish and remember how special your friendships were. Mom has always reminded me of where my middle name came from and I only hope that someday my light will shine as brightly as yours always did.

Glen, Dan, and Becky-you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. No matter how difficult this time is, always remember that this world was a better place because of her and she touched so, so many. When your hearts are hurting please remember that and I pray that it eases the pain and makes your hearts smile.

I would not know where to start with the good memories I have Elaine.  She always had the kindest words of encouragement for me.  She loved my family with all her heart and let us know each time she saw us.  She will ever be one of my favorite people.  I know you are smiling big time now Elaine.  Hand in Hand with Jesus!

 Elaine, will be remembered by her warm heart and gentle soul,my fondest memories is our childhood, when our maltese families would get together and meet every weekend at Belle Isle, kensington, rouge park and all the parties her mom and dad would have. Elaine was my dear friend for 35 years.  Our children grew up together.  I will miss her ready wit and sunny smile.  Her strong faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was an encouragement and example to the many people who loved her.  Our loss is Heaven's gain.

Aunt Elaine I will always remember you for your sunny smile and your ability to always make me laugh no matter what.  Grandpa used to call me a laughing hyena I remember.
