Elizabeth J. Adams (nee Derrick), age 51 of Macomb Township, Michigan, passed away on February 8, 2022, after a tough battle with cancer. She was born on November 28, 1970 in Farmington Hills, Michigan, to Milton and Nancy Derrick, the second youngest of 8 children. Elizabeth was the beloved wife for 25 years to the late Allan; Treasured mother of Jericha (Joseph) and Allison Adams; Loving sister of Molly Hoover (Joseph), Glenn Derrick, Michelle Tribisondi, Susan Hopkins, and Lori Kay Riegsecker (Darryl); Cherished companion of Jeff McIntosh; Dearest aunt of many nieces and nephews. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband Allan, parents Milton and Nancy Derrick, and sisters Deborah Saferian and Andrea Taylor.
Elizabeth was a glowing person who will be greatly missed. She was strong and positive. Nothing phased her, even when faced with cancer. Creative and artistic, Elizabeth could also be handy and fix almost anything. She maintained a sense of humor and was the sweetest person in the world (unless you made her mad). Most of all, she loved being with her family and those she cared for.
