It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eric David Hoffman, a beloved father, husband, son, brother, and uncle, on May 29, 2024. Eric was born on June 24, 1978, in Grosse Pointe, Michigan.
Eric was a devoted family man, deeply cherished by his wife, Mallory, his daughter, Olivia, and his son, Bryson. He was also a loving son to his mother, Cheryl. His family was his world, and he took great pride in his roles as a husband and father, always putting their happiness and well-being first.
Eric had a zest for life and a passion for the outdoors. He loved spending his free time golfing and working on ATVs and his other recreational vehicles. His enthusiasm for these activities was contagious, and he often shared his love for the outdoors with his family. A man of many talents, Eric was known for his ability to fix just about anything. Eric’s daughter Olivia shared many of his interests and spent countless hours with him at their property in Northern Michigan. Their bond was a testament to the strong and loving relationship they had.
The family will hold a memorial service to celebrate Eric's life on June 4, 2024, at Kaul Funeral Home at 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Township, MI 48035. Visitation will start at Noon until 7:00 pm followed by a service at 6:00 pm.
Eric's passing leaves a void that will be felt by many, but his legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to his family will live on in our hearts forever.
