Eric Irvin Kruger

Loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away February 11, 2013 after a short illness. Eric was born in Germany on March 8, 1920 to the late Gottleib and Martha Kruger and moved to Detroit at the age of 3. Eric married Mary Anna Scherer on May 15, 1953 in Detroit. He retired from General Electric (Carboloy) after working there for 38 years.

Eric is preceded in death by his parents, Gottleib and Martha Kruger along with his siblings, Kurt Krieger, Lillian Potts.

Eric is survived by his loving wife Mary Anne of 59 years, his daughter, Denise (Joe) Leach of Eastpointe, MI, his sons, Eric (Cindy) Kruger of Clinton Twp., MI, Glen (Judy) Kruger of Croswell, MI, and Paul Kruger of Clinton Twp. MI; his only grandchild, Chris Leach, his brother Harry (Sue) Kruger of Lexington, KY, numerous nieces and nephews and his 4 legged friend "Sweetie".

Visitation Friday 3-9 pm at the Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield, Clinton Twp.

Funeral Saturday 10 am at the funeral home.

Burial Cadillac Memorial Gardens East.
