He spent six months out of every year sailing the globe on his 50 foot ketch with his intrepid first mate Ann by his side. Eric loved his adventurous life and could regale you with his stories for hours on end.
Eric survived a helicopter crash, agent orange, broken bones, cancer, radiation treatment, and multiple falls from tall buildings. Yes, we thought he was Superman and never dreamed of losing him - he was invincible. Alas, we were wrong.
He enjoyed good tequila, Bob Dylan's music and making people smile. He squeezed every bit of life out of the years he was here with us. He will be greatly missed.
Eric is survived by his devoted wife Ann, his brothers Al [ Claudia ] and Todd Nesbitt, multiple nieces and nephews, and friends from around the world.
There will be a military tribute followed by a memorial luncheon on Monday, Nov. 20, 2017. Please contact family for details.Arrangements under the direction of Resurrection Funeral Home, Clinton Township, MI.
