Eric was a wonderful person. I really got to know him the last couple of years we worked together. We always laughed a lot and I really enjoyed his friendship...we would talk every day toward the end of the day and he would turn on "his kind of music" and I could hear it through the cubicle wall. I just can't believe he is really gone. My prayers are with his family and girlfriend. May God bring you peace and comfort in the days ahead.

One of the saddest moments is when you hear of the loss of a friend. No one can prepare you for a loss; it comes like a swift wind. You were taken from us too soon. I worked with Eric for eight years. He was kind and welcoming. He always talked about Reggie and guitars. His laugh was contagious. May fond memories of Eric bring his friends and family comfort during this difficult time. You were loved and you will be missed my friend.

It will be the little things that you will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter. And although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memories of these little things that help to push away the pain and bring the smiles back again. Those we care about don't go away. They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed, and very dear.

To Eric's family and loved ones, I am so sorry to know of Eric's sudden passing. My heart goes out to you. I used to work with Eric at SME, as he did the marketing for the journals and research conference I worked on. He was a fun guy and good colleague. Many of his former coworkers send their prayers as well.

So sorry to hear of your loss, Michelle. (I worked with your mom, June for many years and you and I met at UM when you came to visit her). I recently lost my mom as well as my 38-year-old cousin, very talented young man, healthy as far as his family knew, but suddenly had an aneurysm. Your boyfriend sounds liked a wonderful man and far too young. Prayers for you, his family and yours during this sad time.
