Eugene D. Sun, age 88 passed away September 26, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Dolores. Loving father of Valerie, Denise (Scott) Freeman, Glenn, Julie (Jay Brobst) and Lynn (Ken) Klann; dear grandfather of Vicky (Mike), Luke (Mary), Benjamin, Zachary and Kate; proud great grandfather of Mia, Jordyn, Gabriella and Leo. Eugene is also survived by his brother Patrick (the late Toni) and many nieces and nephews.
Eugene was a proud Korean War Veteran. He retired as a sergeant from the Detroit Police Department after 38 years. Eugene loved spending summers up north with his family. As we all know, he was a great story teller. He enjoyed many years of travel with Dolores and their friends.
Visitation Friday, October 5, 2018 5pm until 9pm. Kaul Funeral Home. Saturday, October 6, 2018 visitation 9am until the time of the funeral service at 11am. Kaul Funeral Home 35201 Garfield, Clinton Township MI.
