Fran was the devoted wife of the late James Hudgins, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, friendship, and cherished memories. Together they built a wonderful life centered around family, faithfulness, and enjoying life’s simple pleasures.
For 30 years, Fran dedicated herself to her career as an Administrative Vice President with Northern Wire & Cable in Troy, where she was respected for her professionalism, dedication, and strong work ethic.
Above all else, Fran treasured her family. Her greatest joy came from being a grandmother, and she loved her grandchildren with all her heart. She was always there to celebrate their accomplishments, support them through life’s challenges, and shower them with unconditional love. Her family will forever cherish the memories of her kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion.
Fran enjoyed traveling, especially her trips to Florida and Tennessee, as well as spending time with her family at their beloved getaways on the lake in Durand, Michigan and Rose City, Michigan. She and James also shared a passion for classic cars and were active members of a local car club. Together they traveled throughout Michigan, proudly displaying their vehicles at car shows from Frankenmuth to Detroit and everywhere in between, creating lasting friendships and wonderful memories along the way.
In later years, Fran courageously faced the challenges of arthritis and endured numerous surgeries with remarkable strength and determination. While those years were not without hardship, her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace.
