It’s been three yrs since you been gone.  It’s been rough not having my grandpa talk to each night and hearing different characters. I could use you right now with your jokes. Sometimes I wish I could still hear your voice for the last time and giving me tips in life it just to talk about life in general. I been in tears off and on over the years. Praying for some help here an there. Your grandson ask about you every day and he truly miss you. Fly high and watch over us. We truly miss you everyday and wish you could be here see everyone once again.. love you

 Mahoney, but I have never forgotten him and all the family. You were part of my childhoid, my parents, and you and Jean were good friends. Between the 10 of us McCann kids and the Mahoney clan we had some great gatherings.  You were such a calm and funny man, God has called you home, 
May the road to heaven rise up to meet you and the wind be at your back and forever be held in the hollow of his hands. (An Irish version of trekking off to heaven)

Oh how much you will be missed by many love ones. You was amazing, funnying and any girl can ask for a grandpa. I had amazing and fun time talking on the phone some nights. Love the stories you always told. I'm glad you was here to meet your great grandson. We going miss you so much. We love you and fly high.
