Francis Marion Rude. Frank was born in Indiana on December 22, 1936. He passed away on September 19, 2019 surrounded with the love and support of his family. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nancy (Purdom) Rude and children, Kimberly (Donald) Kuhnle, Tracy (David) Herrington, and Julie (Marc) Steppey. Predeceased by daughter Jane. Frank had eight grandchildren, Holly (Joseph) Wasil, Alicia Herrington, Kaydee Kuhnle, Ashley (Tyler) Kent, Austin (Amelia) Steppey, Luke Steppey, Olivia Herrington, and Caleb Steppey. He also had one great granddaughter, Harper Wasil. Frank is also survived by his siblings Lauretta Wilfong, Lawrence (Georgia) Rude, Nancy Rude, and Sarah (Jerry) Spencer. After retiring from GM after 35 plus years, Frank spent several years working on the staff of Bethany Baptist where he faithfully attended and served over 46 years. He served his country in the Navy and dedicated his adult life to serving his wife, children and grandchildren. Visitation on September 22nd from 3-8 PM at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Road, Clinton Township. The funeral service will be on September 23rd at 11 AM at the funeral home with a 10 AM instate viewing. A luncheon will follow at Bethany Baptist Church, 19700 Fifteen Mile Road, Clinton Township.
