Dear Zia Josephine and cousins all, I'm so very sorry that you have to go through such a sorrowful time. No matter how long a life one lives, it's still hard to say goodbye to someone we cherish. I know how fondly Uncle George will be remembered by all in my family in Toronto. He always had a tale to tell or a lesson to be learned. It just wouldn't be a visit without one of Uncle George's deep rooted conversations.  I am very grateful that I had a short visit with him just two weeks ago and even though he didn't say much this time round, he had the sweetest smile. Please accept my family's deepest regret, know that he was loved and is now at rest with God.

My dear Zia Josephine, cousins John, George, Mary, Sal, Antonette and families,I can'texpress enough how sorry we are to hear of uncle George's death. I extend our sincere condolences on behalf of myself and family, and mom Zia Maria.
 I will never forget all those great visits and wonderful memories we had back and forth of the border. We will all miss Uncle George and all his discussions. 
Death is a devastating time and only time will heal the pain of losing  someone we love. I truly wish I was there to give you all hugs and  support.
As you know Mom is 90 this weekend and because of her immobility and ill health she depends on us for her daily routines so I am very sorry we are unable to attend the funeral.We will be with you in spirit and in love. God bless you all.

Uncle George was my grandmother's brother. Though I've lived in Florida most of my life and never knew him well, I remember him and Aunt Josephine as a fond memory of my childhood. The times I got to see him were always a joy and he was very sweet to me. May God Bless you Uncle George and bring your family peace during this difficult time. With love, Angela (Mannone) Whitener.

You were the most hard working,honest man I know. My Mother, your sister loved you very much and I am sure you are together in heaven. I have so many fond memories of growing up with you and your many visits, the coffee and deserts my mother made on Sundays.
