September 11, 2026 – October 30, 2026
Our sweet baby boy, Graham Xaivier-Austin Bashaw, gained his angel wings on October 30, 2026.
From the very beginning, Graham was a fighter. Born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), Graham’s journey was anything but easy. He faced more challenges in his short 49 days of life than most will ever face in a lifetime. But through it all, he showed a strength that was nothing short of extraordinary.
Graham was a true Heart Warrior. Throughout his life, he endured two open-heart surgeries, two catheterizations, and eight chest procedures. He spent nearly his entire life on ECMO, dialysis, and a ventilator, with only four days off these machines. His tiny body went through so much, yet his strength never stopped inspiring everyone around him.
Through every procedure, every setback, and every difficult day, Graham was surrounded by endless love. His mommy and daddy were by his side every day, loving him, holding him, and fighting alongside him through every step of his journey. His siblings, Arabella and Ronan, will forever have a special place in their hearts for their baby brother. Graham was deeply loved by his entire family, and he never spent a day without knowing how much he meant to them.
Although his time here was far too short, Graham made an impact that will never be forgotten. He taught us what courage looks like, what unconditional love feels like, and just how much strength can live inside the tiniest little heart.
He may have lost his battle here on earth, but he will forever be our hero. His story is not defined by the surgeries, machines, or battles he endured, but by the love he gave, the lives he touched, and the beautiful little boy he was.
There are no words to describe the heartbreak of saying goodbye so soon. We would give anything for just one more cuddle, one more kiss, and one more moment with our precious boy.
Forever our baby, forever our heart warrior, and forever loved beyond words.
Fly high, sweet Graham. Your little heart can finally rest. Until we meet again, you will always be a part of us.
Gone from our arms, but never from our hearts.
