Gregg grew up with two older sisters and younger brother: Anna and her sister Ruth, who raised Greg from when he was 14; and Bobby, his little brother.
Gregg loved his family more than he knew how and was able to find love after overcoming harsh upbringing by his mother and no father. After staying some years with his sister Ruth and helping raise her children Jimmy, Jessica and Mark, he went off to start his own journey different jobs and staying with friends until finally settling down with his wife and career as a home improvement contractor.
He was married and is survived by his wife, Dawn Cheap, who loved him and gave birth to his three children: Ryan, Taylor, and Brandon. He also leaves behind six grandchildren and a son-in-law.
He loved his family more than he knew how to express, he wouldn’t lie to you or sugar coat the truth, had his passion for golf and found interest in most sports, he was competitive and sarcastic by nature also smart with a good sense of humor.
In 2015 he was in a bad car accident that he could never fully recover from. He would spend the last ten years of his life at the care of his wife and children.
Per his wishes no service will be held and he will be cremated. A go-fund-me was started to help the family.
At this time, the family has chosen to remember Gregg privately.
