Harley Hagerman Jr., age 95, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022. He is survived by his son, David (Debbie) Hagerman; grandchildren, Julie (Andrew Dubay) Hagerman and Devon Hagerman; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Alex and Andrew. He was predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Bernice Hagerman, his son Dennis and grandson Ryan.
Harley was a retired Detroit Fireman after serving for 33 years. He had received many citations of valor for his multiple acts of bravery and extreme devotion to duty. Harley was a proud Navy veteran and was a corpsman in World War II. He was a quiet man with a dry sense of humor and was a second father to an entire neighborhood. Harley loved the Detroit Red Wings and Tigers, and was an avid golfer. He was a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather. Harley's presence will be missed by his family and many friends.
A visitation for Harley will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm, with a Funeral service immediately following at 1:00 pm. All services will be at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035.
