Helen B. Kowal

Helen was the beloved wife of the late Stanley Kowal; loving mother of Stanley (Judith) Kowal, Richard (the late Barbara Ann) Kowal, Gerald (Barbara) Kowal, Joanne Kowal, and Helen (Daniel) Kurzawski; devoted grandmother of David (Renee) Kowal, Elizabeth (Michael) Hausman, Kathy (Eric) Armstrong, Sharon (the late Paul) Hanson, Jennifer Kowal, Susan (Scott) Mishler, Melanie DeGennaro, Gary Kurzawski, Cynthia (Thomas) Wolshon and great-grandmother "Busia" of Ashley, Jacob, and Joshua Armstrong, Kayla, Samantha, and Lindsey Hanson, Megan, Jenna, and Evan Kowal, Ryan Hausman, Graham, Lawson, and Kellen Mishler, Kylie and Harley Wolshon, and Sveva DeGennaro. Helen was predeceased by all of her siblings and their spouses, Joseph (Frances) Kilanowski, Julius (Helen) Kilanowski, Chester Kilanowski, and Genevieve (Edward) Boszczar.

She was proud to have worked at and retired from J.L. Hudson’s.

Visitation Monday, August 22, 3 – 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Scripture Service at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield, Clinton Twp. In-state Tuesday, August 23, from 10:30 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Thecla Catholic Church, Clinton Twp.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen, American Cancer Society, or McLaren Hospice.
