Henriette "Henny" T. Leutheuser

Henriette "Henny" T. Leutheuser, age 84, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018. Beloved wife of Dankwart "Dan" Leutheuser; loving mother to Ruth Medbury, Irwin (Sherry) Leutheuser, Bert Leutheuser, and Heidi Garthe; dear grandmother to Danielle, Morgan, Brooke, Justin, Christopher, Dylan, and Haley; great-grandmother to Preston and Lillyanna; and sister to Tilda Anderson.

Henriette was born in Regensburg, Germany on Oct 15 1933. She married Dankwart Leutheuser on Feb, 19 1955 in Regenstauf, Germany. She went to school in Regensburg, Germany. She worked in the Chippewa Valley School district for Clinton Valley Elementary School. She was a teacher and administrator for the before and after school programs for 17 Years. Early on she had a love for teaching children. Henny enjoyed crafts, sewing, playing board games and planting and nurturing flowers. Her yard was award winning in its presentation.

Memorial visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes, Clinton Twp., MI. Memorial service to start at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

There are so many special memories of Henny. Working with Henny was a true blessing!! When we were on the playground with the kids, she would always announce the wind direction and I laughed because I never knew the direction of the weather.
Another great memory, in day care when a child was really misbehaving she would speak in German to them and I think they got the hint. May you rest in Peace Henny. Love, Clorinda
