Howard was born on March 11, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan, to Ferris and Rose (née Gunning) Pascoe. He spent his early years in St. Clair Shores and was a graduate of St. Clair High School.
Following graduation, Howard began a long and successful career with General Motors, where he worked as a machine operator for 30 years before retiring at the remarkable age of 48. Retirement, however, did not slow him down. Never one to sit still, Howard earned his real estate license and went on to establish his own business, Park Place Realty, where he continued serving others and building lasting relationships.
In his younger years, Howard enjoyed flying remote-controlled airplanes at the park and had a lifelong fascination with technology. He was known for staying current with the latest gadgets, electronics, and innovations. Family and friends often turned to him when something needed fixing, as he had a gift for understanding how things worked. Whether taking apart a television to repair it or troubleshooting the newest electronic device, Howard’s knowledge and mechanical ability were unmatched.
More than any hobby or accomplishment, Howard treasured his family. On December 18, 1971, he married the love of his life, Nancy Marie (née Kraus), and together they shared more than 54 years of marriage. They raised their son, Anthony Wayne Pascoe, together and built a home filled with love, laughter, and generosity. Howard especially cherished family vacations, creating lasting memories during trips to Florida and Niagara Falls.
Howard was known for his kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others. He opened his home to family members in need, always putting others before himself. He was incredibly knowledgeable and could carry on a conversation about nearly any subject. Those who knew him will remember his sharp mind, dependable nature, and the genuine care he showed to everyone around him.
Howard is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; his sister, Nancy; his siblings-in-law, Jackie (the late Larry), Nancy (the late William), and Vera (the late James); his wife’s siblings, Barbara (Dennis) Carrier, Mary Kraus, and Richard Kraus; and many loving nieces and nephews, including his godson, Wayne Carrier.
He was preceded in death by his son, Anthony; his parents, Ferris and Rose; and his siblings, James, William, Larry, and Rose.
