Ian Cullen Madeleine

Ian Cullen Madeleine, age 32, passed away suddenly on February 6, 2015. He leaves behind his mother and step father Peggy and Chuck Smith, father Keith Madeleine, grandparents Leonard and Dolores Stachnik, God parents David and Dawn Stachnik, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Ian was preceded in death by his grandparents Jean and Marge Madeleine and great grandparents Josephine and Marcel Smolinski and Estelle and Steven Stachnik.

Ian enjoyed being an NRA instructor, teaching CPL classes and tactical and firearms safety. He won many awards involved with shooting guns. He had a passion for guns, gardening, kayaking, law enforcement and his corvette. Ian absolutely loved his dogs Gino and Lexi and the late Mia. He enjoyed working, both as a fraud and embezzlement detective and excavating underground water and sewer work. Ian was a proud member of the Free Masons. He will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Visitation will take place at Kaul Funeral Home 35201 Garfield Rd. Clinton Township, MI 48035 on Tuesday, February 10 from 3:00 – 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 11 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Epilepsy Foundation.
