Those who knew Ian will remember a man whose steadfast loyalty showed itself in the way he stood by the people he cared about. He carried himself with a quiet resilience and strength that did not seek attention, yet was unmistakable in the way he met life as it came. And even in serious moments, Ian’s sharp, smartass sense of humor had a way of cutting through the weight of the day - often leaving those around him smiling despite themselves.
Whenever he was able, Ian loved riding his motorcycle. A truly good friend, Ian was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone, giving his time and help without hesitation. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.
Ian is survived by his father, Kim Miller; brother, Jason Miller; nephew, James Mahon; Aunt Lisa King; Uncle Brian McKay; and Uncle Dale (Beata) Miller.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Lynne Miller, and grandparents: Robert (June) McKay and George (Joyce) Miller.
Visitation will be held at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035, on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 10am until the time of the service at 1pm.
