Iva Irene Tabor

Iva Irene Tabor, age 89, died Friday, October 27, 2017 at Gladwin Nursing and Rehab of Gladwin, Michigan. She was born June 18, 1928 to Alice Venna (nee Bonham) and Carl W. Dunavant. She married Wilmer "Clifford" Lewis Tabor on September 8, 1945 in Itman, West Virginia. Iva worked and retired from Chrysler Sterling Stamping Plant in Sterling Heights, Michigan. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her sons Ronald (Sandra) of El Paso, Texas and Clifton (Angela) Tabor of Gladwin, MI; sisters Lois Welch of Clarkston, MI and Lila "Jan" Noe of Chesterland, Ohio; grandchildren Christopher Tabor of Clinton Township, MI, Aaliyah Tabor and Javier Tabor of Gladwin, MI, Tracy Wotherspoon of Roseville, MI, Ronald Tabor Jr. of Houston, Texas, Susie Tabor of El Paso, Texas, and Claudia Manoviec of Eastpointe, Michigan; great-grandchildren Kirsty (Gary) Hale, Josh Ward, Emily Ward, Spenser, Maurice and Lawrence Tabor of El Paso, Texas, Julia and Jackie Tabor of Houston, Texas. She was predeceased by her parents; husband Wilmer "Clifford" Tabor; sisters June Lambert, Vida Cooke, Barbara Lynch; brother Don D. Dunavant; and daughter Faye Miller. Visitation Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 3-8 pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes, Clinton Township. Funeral Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery, Clinton Township, Michigan. Memorial contributions to the Michigan Humane Society or Rejoyceful Animal Rescue would be appreciated.
