Jacqueline "Jackie" Christine Constantine, aged 79, passed away on October 12, 2025. Jackie was born on February 13th, 1946 to Casimer and Irene Krasucki, in Hamtramck Michigan, where she was raised with her sister Elaine. Jackie enjoyed spending time at the movies with her family and spending time with her cousins.
Jackie met her soulmate, Bill Constantine while attending Hamtramck High School. They were wed in eternal bliss, on May 28, 1962. Jackie became a mother to her first daughter, Cherie (Constantine) Schwartz, on January 9th, 1963. She excelled at one of the most difficult professions in the world, as a housewife and devoted mother. Bill and Jackie continued building and growing their family, raising their children Cindy (Constantine) Sanborn, Bill Constantine, and Susan (Constantine) Kauflin. Together they purchased their first home on Sobieski Street in Detroit, and then in 1977 they moved with their 4 children to Warren, on Adams Avenue.
As the family grew and her children began lives and families of their own, Jackie volunteered as a Hospice Caregiver where she worked with the sick and elderly for over a year, providing comfort and support for those who needed it most. Jackie also enjoyed working as a Pharmacy Technician at the local CVS Pharmacy, where she provided service and support for over 15 years.
Jackie is survived by her children, Cherie Schwartz, Cindy (Dan) Sanborn, Bill (Carol) Constantine, Susie (Brian) Kauflin, her Grandkids, Randy, Will, Stephanie, Chelsea, Rob, Cara, Kayla, Lawrence, Brandon, Maggi, Shawn, Aaron, Chloe, and her Great-Grandkids, Mason, Lucas, Willie, Brantley, Peyton, Cole, Hazel, Parker, Memphis, and Abigail.
Jackie was a strong spirit, always ready to lend support and comfort to those who needed it. She enjoyed the simpler things in life, tending to her flower garden, sitting at the edge of a lake or at the “stupid” cottage, reading true crime novels, or just enjoying a long conversation over a cup of coffee or two. Jackie was the kind of person that would light up a room when she walked in, always looking for the person most in need of companionship and offering her time and energy in making sure that person felt inclusion. Jackie’s love and energy were a blessing to this world and to those who were blessed enough to have known her. She will truly be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing and the honor of loving this incredible woman.
Visitation for Jackie will be held at Resurrection Funeral Home, located at 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038, on October 16, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and again on October 17, 2025, from 11:00 am until a Funeral at Noon. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township, Michigan.
