James was the loving husband of Mary, with whom he shared 55 wonderful years of marriage. He was a devoted father to Jennifer (Paul) Williams, Julie (Pat) Landis, Jamie (Jason) Magnan, and James Catellane III, and a proud grandfather to MacKenzie, Marek, Cooper, Carter, Addison, and Isabella. He was the dear brother of Catherine Plain, the late Claudia Zombek, Mary Jo Chambe, and Diane Catellane.
Jim worked for Federal Express for many years before retiring. Following retirement, he and Mary moved to Higgins Lake, where he found great joy spending time on the water. A proud United States Navy veteran, Jim was an active member of the American Legion in Roscommon.
He was deeply involved in his faith community, serving as an usher and Knights of Columbus member at St. Michael Church in Roscommon. Jim also enjoyed singing and was a member of a barbershop group, sharing his love of music with others. Above all else, Jim treasured time spent with his grandchildren, who brought him his greatest joy.
