There are so many great memories of the little community of Raliegh Drive/Mars Court and most of them involve Jim.  He could make you smile during the bad times or tell you one of his corny jokes to brighten your day.  He was the neighborhood master of parties and bowling banquets. (Remember the dinner dances that all our parents would get all dressed up for.  We were so happy when we became old enough to attend one.) During this sad time, we hope that the fond and loving memories of Jim will cause you to smile.  We are glad to have known you "Mr. Troe".

Dad I sure miss you, I no you are happy with Patty, Terry, and David and many of our other family members. And as I have always said  God broke the mold after you, because they don't make them like you anymore.  R.I.P. Dad Love you Bunches  Chris

I Love you so much Grandpa! I'll miss you but know you're in a much better place. You Have been the most amazing person in my life and made every day worthwhile. I Love you forever & ever! P.S. I know you'll still be walking with me the day of my wedding whenever that may be.

My Dad, It didn't matter what life challenged him with, he was always true to his family and freinds. He was an amazing man. Nicknamed, Saint James, because he managed to live in a house full of girls and only 1 bathroom. Thanks Dad for the wonderful life you shared with us. Love you so much Dad and miss you even more.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Troe family. Mr Troe was a very nice man.He will always be remebered, I look back on memories of when we were kids and smile. He and Mrs Troe were there for us when we lost our parents and our brother Jimi, I will always be greatful to them.  Mr Troe keep smiling down on us, you will never be forgotten.   Love Barbara

My condolences to the Troe family.  I have the fondest memories of Jim, as I was a neighbor of the Troe's when we were growing up in Sterling Heights.  I remember that Jim made my graduation banner when I graduated from High School and deliberately misspelled the word "Congradulations" just as a joke (the actual banner was properly spelled).  Jim and my dad were on a bowling league together for years, and I remember spending a lot of time at the Troe house, and skating on ice rinks in the backyard made by Jim.  My love to Marge, Micky, Beth, Chris and Sue.  I am so very sorry for your loss.
