Jim had a zest for life and enjoyed several hobbies, including collecting baseball cards, trying his luck at the casino, and exploring new destinations through his travels. He had a particular fondness for savory tamales and the pasties from Lehto's. Jim also had a deep appreciation for music, with Patsy Cline being one of his favorite artists.
In addition to his hobbies and interests, James proudly served in the Army, demonstrating his bravery and commitment to his country. He had a strong sense of duty and honor, which he carried with him throughout his life.
Professionally, Jim excelled as a Journeyman for Michigan Rivet for over 40 years, leaving behind an impressive career legacy. He was known for his dedication and skill in his work.
Jim shared his life with two remarkable women. He was widowed by his beloved spouse Lenore and had a significant other named Janet Page. Together they created a loving and supportive environment.
James will be dearly missed by his family and loved ones. He is preceded in death by his brother, Charlie Wade; his sister, Susan Wade; his mother, Mary Wade; and his father, Lester Wade.
Family was of utmost importance to Jim. He leaves behind his daughter Pamela Wade; granddaughter Lauren Wade; and great- granddaughter, Amelia Wade, all of whom brought immense joy to his life. His sister, Callie Wade also survives him and their bond was cherished.
Remembered for his warm and caring nature, Jim was a delightful jokester who had an infectious sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
The family will greet guests from 2:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp., Michigan. Funeral services with military honors will take place at 11:00am on Thursday, August 8 at the above location. Visitation from 10:00 am until time of service. Inurnment at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a future date.
