Jane Regina Spork, of Clinton Township, Michigan, was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world on February 20, 2022 at age 95. Jane was born August 9, 1926 in Hamtramck, Michigan to the late Chester and Victoria (Gnatek) Renkiewicz.
Jane felt called to the profession of nursing and entered the Nursing Cadet Corps during World War II. She worked for over 30 years as a nurse. Early in her career Jane helped to bring life into the world as a labor & delivery nurse at Holy Cross Hospital in Detroit. Late in her career she lovingly cared for those moving on from this life at Autumn Woods Nursing Home in Warren.
Jane is survived by her sons, Chris (Mary) Spork, Daniel (Eunice) Spork, Timothy (Deborah) Spork, Keith (Karen) Spork; 14 Grandchildren; 12 Great- Grandchildren; her brother, Richard (Mary) Renkiewicz; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Joseph; her son, Jim; sister Anna and brother Joseph.
A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 5th 10:00am with an Instate prior to the Mass at 9:30am St. Paul of Tarsus, 41300 Romeo Plank Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48038.
