Jane was born on May 9, 1940 in Ashton NE to Cyrus and Clara (Nowicki) Bydalek. Jane is survived by her loving husband, Lawrence Tuscany. Beloved mother of daughters Kimberly (Carl) Gearns and Kathy (Todd) Chadick. Loved by her grandchildren Emily (Jake) Block, Lilli (Erik) Chadick-Gothard, Benjamin Chadick, Katherine (Jillian) Begley, Zachary (Emily) Gearns. Beloved Busia (Boo) of great-grandchildren Alexandria, Brianna, Maverick and Bowen.
Jane graduated from Loop City High School in 1958 and, upon graduating, moved to Detroit, MI. There she met her husband of 66+ years, Lawrence (Larry) Tuscany. Jane worked for many years at multiple companies. Those of note include EJ Korvettes as Personal Manager and BCBS. Jane spent the last years of her career at Rodnick Brothers as Office Manager, retiring in 2013. During her work career, Jane returned to school, earning her Associate's Degree in Word Processing from Macomb Community College.
Jane loved attending Silver Sneakers and was a frequent volunteer at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking. No one ever went hungry when Jane was cooking and her Christmas cookies are legendary. Jane most enjoyed playing with her great grandchildren, taking drives and an occasional trip to the casino.
Jane is survived by sister Elizabeth (Betty) Leonhardt, In Laws Richard & Janice Tuscany, Ronald & Geri Tuscany, Sue Tuscany and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister Elaine Maciejewski and brothers Jerome (Jerry), Donald and Jack; brothers-in-law Boyd Leonhardt, Jim Maciejewski, Floyd Tuscany, Robert Tuscany, sister-in-law Janice Tuscany, nieces Sheryl Anne Tuscany, Deanne Maciejewski Carpenter and Donna Maciejewski Gancos.
A memorial visitation will take place on Friday, May 22 from 4pm-8pm at Kaul Funeral Home - 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Twp, MI. Memorial Mass will be held at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Catholic Church - 18720 13 E Thirteen Mile Rd, Roseville, MI at 11am with an instate prior at 10:30am.
