Anyone who knew Jeff understood that being around him meant having a good time. He worked hard for Motor City Door as an installer but also made time to truly enjoy life. He had a big personality and his energy was contagious. Described simply as a “big kid”, Jeff loved playing video games and with his adult toys, particularly boats and airplanes. Although he rode around in style on his souped up golf cart, it didn’t compare to his favorite set of wheels, his 1968 Camaro. Aside from all the fun and games, there was also a serious side to Jeff. He was quite the history buff. He knew all things military, which included a love for guns. And of course, Jeff always welcomed a good discussion in politics. Most of all, Jeff loved and cherished his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Jeff was the beloved husband of Tina for 23 years. Loving father of Tara and Jenna. Cherished son of Helen (Charlie) Stevenson and the late John. Dear brother of Karen (Mike) Accorsi. Nephew of David Jones. Uncle of Tom, Jackie, Courtney, Matt, Jonathan and Holly. Son-in-law of Jim and Carol Haas. Brother-in-law of James Haas and Matt (Arlene) Haas. Also survived by his dog Muffin.
Visitation for Jeff will be held on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. Funeral Service at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Rd. in Clinton Township.
