Joan Rosemary Babbitt

Joan Babbitt, 77, of Mt Clemens passed away June 8, 2017. Joan was a Registered Nurse for over 30 years, an accomplished pianist, a roller-skater with The Sophisticates, she sang and danced with many community theaters including, McMoran Theater, Macomb Center of Performing Arts Senior Show, Port Huron Civic Theater, and String of Pearls. Joan was very active in several other groups including The Fugowees Camping Club, her prayer group, and The Birthday Club. She was the beloved wife of the late Clifford; dear mother of Terrie Babbitt-Welsing, Heidi (Gordon) Cameron, Jeffrey (Beth) Babbitt, and the late David (the late Diane) Babbitt; proud grandmother of Tiffany, Heather, Amy, Stephanie, Kendra, Zachary, Patrick, Jordan, Courtney, and Christian; great-grandmother of 11; and sister of the late Kathy Whitley, Frederick Johns, Faith (Anthony) Webb, Janet (Richard) Bjornson, and Colleen (Paul) Montalto. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday, June 11, 6-9pm, and Monday, June 12, 2-9pm with a Rosary service at 7pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield, Clinton Twp.
