John was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Honorably discharged in 1959 after 3 years of service and obtaining the rank of SGT-E5. Assigned to D Battery, 1st Missile Battalion, 55th Artillery stationed at Fort Slocum, NY.
John is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patricia; children: John, Steve, Jim, Mike, Dan. As well as grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Anna and John Burich.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 22nd at St. Paul of Tarsus Catholic Church. Following the services, there will be a procession to Resurrection Cemetery where John will be laid to rest.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to DAV or St. Paul of Tarsus Catholic Church in memory of John.
