John L. “Jack” Gougeon, Sr., born Aug. 5, 1925. Long time resident of Sterling Heights. A member of the “Greatest Generation” he proudly served his country as a member of the US Army Air Corp in World War II. Jack is pre-deceased by his wife of 47 years Ida, his daughter Marianne, his brother James and step-son Edward Wilson. Loving father of John, Jr. (Beth), Patricia (Dan) Marley and step-son Joseph (Kathy) Wilson. Jack loved his family and will be missed by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his sister Mary Jo Phelan, his brother Gerald (Emily) Gougeon and his many nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday, April 24 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00p.m. at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Rd., Clinton Twp. Visitation will continue Wednesday, April 25 at 9:30 a.m. until time of mass 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 9764 Dixie Highway, Ira Twp.
