Joseph Auito Jr.

Auito, Joseph, age 82, passed away on May 4, 2016. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Mitsuko. Also, leaves behind his loving son Joseph (Barbara) and grandchildren Ryan (Melissa) and Christopher. Loving great grandfather of Joey, Savannah, Shelby and Keira.

Brother to Gladys Alford, Mildred (Ray) Rippe, Catherine Friedrich, Janet (Kenneth) Rosinski, James (Deborah), Anna (Mike) Hansen, and Mike. Pre-deceased by brothers Victor and Cyrus. Proud uncle of many, many nieces and nephews.

Joe was a proud decorated veteran, a longtime member of the St. Mathias Catholic Community, and a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 124 for many years.

Visitation will be held at the Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038 on Friday, May 6, 2016 beginning at 3 pm until 9 pm, with a military service at 6 pm. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at St. Mathias Catholic Church, 12509 Nineteen Mile Road, Sterling Heights, MI 48313. In-state at 10:30 am, with the mass at 11:00 am.
