

Beloved husband of 43 years to Dorothy; adored father of Autumn (Ron) Krzeminski, and Joseph (Stacy Cane) Ritter, V; cherished grandpa of Ronnie and Aaron Krzeminski, and Ella, Tori, and Livy Ritter; dear brother of James (Kim) Ritter, and the late Marie (Wayne) Karchner. Joe is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Joe was born on March 22, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Joseph III and Catherine (nee Canepa) Ritter.
Joe enjoyed golfing, cooking and baking, traveling with Dorothy, spending time with his family, and singing with the Metropolitan Detroit Chorale for over 25 years. He was a skilled and talented carpenter; proudly owning “Ritter’s Repair and Remodeling” for 22 years.
The family will greet friends on Saturday, June 3 from 4:00 pm-9:00 pm and on Sunday, June 4 from 1:00 pm until time of scripture service at 7:00 pm at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, June 5 at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 18201 23 Mile Rd., Macomb, MI. In State from 9:30 am until time of service.
