Life is special, life can be kind, life can put us through terrible times but if we remember all the special times it gets us through the hard times. Uncle Joe & Aunt Marion, are a special couple that we all hold dear to our hearts. They had a special bond and love that is so dear. My special memories of Uncle Joe include the time they took our twin daughter, Lisa, when she was five weeks old and kept her when I had surgery. Aunt Marion, always saying "I always wanted twins and they were blessed with twins in their family," I remember the time Jerry, Uncle Joe, Aunt Marion and myself went to see Danny Holley. The time they came to Tennessee. We had such a great time with them. Uncle Joe would take Aunt Marion, to Pigeon Forge, TN a couple of times a year and him saying she loved it. Those were special times. Also, the beautiful 65th wedding anniversary party they had. What a beautiful couple they made. It tickled me when Aunt Marion told me Uncle Joe took her to Mackinac Island, drove all the way up there and came back the same day because he wanted to sleep in his own bed. I thought to myself "What a heck of a guy!" I am so glad they enjoyed their life together. We all need to hold on to our special memories. I want to thank you, Uncle Joe, for mine.
