Kathleen "Kay" Gardiner

Kathleen Mae “Kay” Gardiner, 83, of St. Clair Shores – passed away peacefully at home with her family on August 17, 2011. Kay was born July 19, 1928 in Detroit, MI to Loren and Beatrice Bryant and adopted by her stepfather William Weathers as a young child. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Margaret Ann Barnett, and brother, William Weathers. Kay’s greatest love was always her family. She retired from Moy’s Restaurant of St. Clair Shores with 19 years of service. Devoted mother to her son, Gary (Carol), daughters, Gail “Abby” Gardiner, Sherrie (Michael) Marsh and Deborah (David) Kita; Loving grandmother of 7 and great-grandmother of 8. Dear aunt of Laura Gardiner-Nowak. Great Aunt of Christopher and Olivia Nowak. Visitation Saturday 10-12 am until time of funeral at 12 noon at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield, Clinton Township. Interment at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery, Clinton Township.
