Laura was a devoted wife, mother, and caregiver whose life centered around her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Greg Hopkins, who passed away in 2019. Together, they built a life rooted in love, commitment, and care for others.
Laura was the proud mother of four sons: Adam (Miranda) Hopkins, Nick Hopkins, Eric (Nicole) Hopkins, and Nathaniel Hopkins. Being a mother was her greatest joy, and she poured her heart into raising her boys. After working as an accountant, Laura chose to become a homemaker, dedicating herself fully to her family. She lovingly homeschooled her three youngest sons, shaping not only their education but their character and values.
Her capacity for care extended beyond her immediate family. Laura selflessly cared for her own mother during her battle with Alzheimer’s, offering compassion and patience that reflected her deeply nurturing spirit. Laura found joy in simple pleasures and cherished memories, especially her many trips to her favorite place, Disney World. Those travels brought her happiness and moments of wonder that stayed with her throughout her life.
Though there will be no formal funeral or celebration of life, Laura will be remembered for her quiet strength, her unwavering devotion to family, and the love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on through her sons, her daughters-in-laws, and all those whose lives she touched through her kindness and care.
