Laura was born on September 7, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan, to Joseph and Janet (Mullin) Marzetti. Born deaf, Laura moved through the world with strength, independence, and a fearless spirit that defined her life. She spent her years rooted in Michigan, yet her curiosity and love of travel kept her constantly on the move.
Known for her quiet nature paired with a wild heart, Laura embraced life fully and on her own terms. She had an adventurous soul and was rarely content to stay still for long. Those who knew Laura knew her deep love for animals—especially cats—which brought her comfort, companionship, and joy throughout her life. Her kindness toward animals reflected the warmth, compassion, and independence she carried within.
Laura is survived by her brother, David Marzetti; her nieces, Angela Kosmas and Amy Werner; and her nephew, Anthony Marzetti. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Laura will be remembered with love by her family and by all whose lives she touched.
