I'm just heartbroken. Your dad was the kindest and warmest person I have ever known. In our younger years we were quite close. My prayers go out to you and the rest of the family. He will be so missed.

There are a lot of beautiful tributes this morning, and all of them are true. If you ever met the man then you knew how kind and funny he was, even in the end. He will certainly be missed by many, but I would like to believe he is in a better place, and while it is goodbye for now it will not be goodbye forever. Love you Gramp B.

The world lost an amazing man last night. Not sure what to feel but I know he is in heaven with my grandma and they are living it up. Wish I could be there for my family back home.

Our wedding day. This was a very important day in mine and my wife's life. I got to meet a very important man in her life and it was a pleasure to meet this wonderful man. He is now an angel watching over our little family. He will be missed dearly. RIP Grandpa

Last night I said my goodbyes to one of the most influential men in my life. He taught me countless things and no words will ever be able to describe how much he meant to me. He helped raise me and took me in when I needed. I spent most of my childhood at his house after school and summers at the cabin in Cheboygan. Thank you for everything you taught me and all you have done for me. I would not be here or who I am without you. You are dearly missed and I love you grandpa.
