Leonard A. Palutis, age 95, of Clinton Township, Michigan, passed away on December 20, 2019. He is the loving father of Rosemary Hargrove and Helen Palutis; Dear brother of Barbara Strehl and Maryann Brauser; Cherished grandfather to many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by several family members.
Leonard led a very full and active life. During World War II, Leonard served his country honorably in the United States Navy. He worked for many years, doing quality control in the automotive industry for Chrysler. In his retirement he spent much time going up north, eventually moving to Mio, Michigan permanently, living independently there until he was 94. He loved to go bowling, and even played on two different bowling leagues until the age of 93. In his free time, Leonard also enjoyed going fishing as well as attending Catholic mass, participating at times as an usher and Eucharistic minister.
