Lilly and her late husband Joseph were founding members of St. Donald Catholic Church in Roseville. Lilly was always very social, and she was active in the church’s seniors’ group where she enjoyed activities such as Bingo and trips to the casino. She enjoyed shopping, playing cards, and spending time with her friends and family. Lilly was a member of a bowling league for many years and was always very active.
Lilly and her beloved Joseph were married for seventy-one years. While their interests varied greatly, their love and devotion were strong. After his passing, Lilly moved from their family home in Roseville to the American House Sterling Meadows, where she made wonderful friendships. She enjoyed outings with their group and could regularly be found playing Rummikub with her friends.
Lilly enjoyed Polish cooking, especially making pierogies. She made them with her husband for many, many years, and carried on this tradition with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. It is a tradition that her grandchildren and great-grandchildren will continue in her honor.
Lilly was admired and respected by those who knew her. Family and friends were very important to her, and she always cherished the special relationship she had with her grandchildren. She was also very fond of her great-grandchildren, and she appreciated her relationship with them. Nothing made her more proud than her grandchildren.
