Lindsay "Liddy" Sokol

October 5, 1949September 24, 2019

Lindsay “Liddy” Sokol passed away on September 24, 2019 at the age of 69. She was the loving mother of Connie (Bill) Garan and Derek (Denise) Sokol. The cherished grandmother of William Garan and Max Garan. She was the dear sister of David, Scott, Robert, Doug, Mike, Kyle, Shanna, Laurel, Leslie, and the late Casey. She was a “dog’s best friend” to Snickers, Scooby and the late Brutus. She is also survived by her former husband Dennis Sokol, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation for Lindsay "Liddy" will take place on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 12:00pm until 7:00pm at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Road in Clinton Township. A Funeral Service will be held at 2pm at the funeral home.

Derek and Connie,
I've only known your mom a few years but in that time i have really gotten to know her and make an amazing friend! I want to thank you both for sending her my way! She was always so happy when i would see her and full of stories to tell about all of you especially Max and William! My heart breaks for you all and im so very sorry for your loss..
Your in my thoughts and prayers and i will miss her dearly..

Derek & Connie,
Your mom will be so missed.
I know how heartbroken you are and Max & William who she loved so much!
I’m glad I got to know her these last few years and shared birthdays and Holidays etc. with her!
It was fun when your Dad would tease her about being older than him but we all know she was way too young to leave now!
She will Rest In Peace and we will all meet with her again
