Lori Dale Brandt

Lori was born on September 19, 1962, in Detroit, Michigan, to her parents, George and Virginia Brandt. She was a happy soul who found joy in the simple pleasures of life and brought happiness to those around her.

Lori loved watching her favorite television shows and movies, especially I Love Lucy, Scooby-Doo, The Three Stooges, The Sound of Music, and Jurassic Park. She treasured time spent with her guardians, family gatherings, and the companionship of her beloved pet dogs. Her faith was also an important part of her life, and she enjoyed attending church at Grosse Pointe Memorial, where she especially loved singing along to the hymns.

Lori also held a special place in her heart for her caregiver, Steve, who made many wonderful memories with her. As the barn manager at Greenfield Village, Steve would take Lori to visit the horses, an outing she greatly enjoyed. He also knew how much she loved McDonald’s and made sure to include those special trips in their time together.

Lori will be lovingly remembered by her co-guardians, Daniel (Dale Foote) Aggas and Kathie Engel. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, George and Virginia Brandt.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Lori’s memory may make a contribution to the Humane Society.

Funeral services will be private.
