To all the "Floral Street" Contesti girls,
I was saddened to hear of your mother's passing. I am sitting here with "Floral Street" memories drifting through my mind...Oh, the memories!!!
Remembering Marge and the fun-loving gal that she was. Always ready with that loving smile and warm hug...always made you feel special.
Know that I am praying for God's peace to surround you all at this time.
Know, also, that grief is just a passage...not a place to stay. Grief is the price of love. It is love with no place to go.
In your quiet times, when you are thinking of her, think of her passing as a new journey for her. Then you can look forward to seeing her once again and bask in the light of God's amazing love together.
With my deepest condolences and love to you all,
Sandi (Roediger) Rhoads

Hi Teena, Lynn, Cheryl, Anne and Lodia,
I was so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. She is a beautiful lady inside and out!! I will never forget how kind and loving she was to me on my many vacations to your house. She always made me feel like one of the family, and I loved her very much.
Know that you will be in my prayers during this difficult time. It’s been a long time, but I still love all of you too!

In sympathy,
Renee

My first memory of Marge Contesti was at Miceli's after one of our softball games in Fraser. When Cheryl introduced me to her mom, I couldn't believe she wasn't Cheryl's sister. I just couldn't believe it.....so beautiful! For a few years, we would go to the Contesti's basement on Floral Street late on Christmas Eve. So much fun....the food, THE FOOD! (my first stuffed squid, deep-fried cauliflower, Bo-Peeps), the Spirits, and love were overflowing. Those memories and more told us how much Marge and Tino cared about us, they made us feel special. They showed love and affection so freely. After Mr. Contesti passed away and Cheryl and I would talk about her mom, she would tell me how she never complained and felt so blessed. She never asked for anything but wanted to give and give. Some people change and affect our lives in wonderful ways and the Contesti and Bell families have done that for us. We know that Tino and Marge are reunited in love and are looking down at all of the beauty they have created; their beautiful daughters, grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren. We love you all. Danny & Lauren Slanec
