Mark Alexander McDougall, 76, was born on October 8, 1949, and died on July 21, 2026. A man of steadfast strength and quiet courage, Mark met life with resolve, working hard and enduring what came with a resilient spirit. He was deeply cherished by those who knew him, and his love for his family remained at the center of his life.
Mark found genuine joy in the outdoors, where time spent fishing and hunting reflected both his appreciation for nature and the steady, capable way he moved through the world. In the face of lung cancer, he fought with the heart of a strong warrior, meeting the battle with bravery and determination.
Mark will be missed by many loving family and friends.
A Committal Service will be held at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery, 621 W Long Lake Rd, Troy, MI 48098, on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
