Dear family Klein, especially Peter (Reinhard),

when I think of Martha, I picture her as a person who was always so very positive and friendly. Although her life was not really easy, she was proud of what she had reached. Martha was a part of a great and caring family to whom she gave her unconditional love.

My memories go back to my K´Zoo time with Peter and my visits to the Klein home in Detroit, where we spent joyful moments together with Martha, Mary, and Fred. Welcoming all of them in Göttingen was simply unbelievable and will always stay unforgotten in my heart.

I see Marha´s smiling face, her helping hands, I feel her inspiring enthusiasm for little things that meant the world to her.
Thank you, Martha, for all the good memories.

This word has helped me through the sad times in my life. And so I hope it will also give you, the Klein family, strength and hold.

Your German friend, Dörte Keßler (husband Norbert and son Lazar)

My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. I have heard so many nice stories about Martha from Peter over the years. She often thought of the needs of others and looked to see if she could bring some happiness to them. Although I never meet Martha in person, she thought enough of me to send some cooking magazines my way. (I assume Peter told Martha about my cooking struggles) ; )
I think we all have the same needs in life, to be loved, to love, to be happy, and to bring happiness to others. Martha wanted those things too and she made me happy in her way. Her spirit will always be with us in the stories that Peter and his family share. She will never be forgotten. Love Tracy Schrader
