Marvin Elmer Muehl, of Sterling Heights, passed away on January 8, 2019, at the age of 95. Devoted husband of 74 years to wife Bernice; adored father of Judy (Jim) Meshefski, Cindy (John) Schumacher, Harvey (Luanne) Muehl, Marcia (Larry) Rogers, and Nancy Krzezewski; proud grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 10; dear brother of Beryl Labatzky, Dory DeStrooper, and Jane Guthrie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and his favorite four-legged feline, Molly.
He proudly served his country with the Marines during World War II, and bravely earned a Purple Heart. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Mildred Muehl; sister, Lois; and brothers, Bernie and Bobby.
The family will greet friends from 3pm-8pm on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd., Clinton Twp. Funeral service will take place at 11:00am on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 23000 Gratiot Avenue, Eastpointe, MI. Visitation from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am at Church. Interment with Marine Corp Military Honors following at St. Peter Lutheran Church Cemetery, Eastpointe, MI
