Elaine Hunziker, passed away on November 23, 2015 at Hartland Nursing Home in Bloomfield Hills. Loving mother of Judy Harris and Emil(Gisela) Hunziker. Grandmother of Michael (Diana) Battenfield, Tracy Harris, John C. Hunziker and Tobias(Heather)Hunziker. Great Grandmother of Anna and Selah Battenfield, Anthony Fowlkes, Otto Hunziker. Also survived by sister Louise Whitley.
Preceded in death by Parents; Julius and Esther Shaw and sister Rose McCurdy.
Elaine loved turtles and she collected anything to do with turtles including figurines and jewelry. Elaine's body per her wishes was donated to Wayne State University Body donation program so that others may learn.
A memorial service in her honor will be held on Monday November 30, 2015 starting at 1:00 p.m. at Resurrection Funeral Home 40800 Hayes Rd. Clinton Twp. MI 48038. Please make all donations to Wayne State University medical school.
