Mary was born to Marcus and Rose Sutter on May 15, 1935. She grew up in Chesaning, Michigan, where she attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help. During her high school years, Mary was actively involved in various activities. She was a cheerleader and a dedicated member of the church choir, where she enjoyed performing solos. Her passion for music led her to perform solos at weddings and funerals as well.
In 1956, Mary married Richard B. Andres Sr. Together, they had three sons: Richard Jr., Peter, and Mark. After the unfortunate passing of her husband, Mary devoted herself to raising her sons with love and strength.
In addition to being a loving mother, Mary was a committed volunteer, offering her time to her church and various charitable organizations. Later in life, she found joy in caring for others, gardening, appreciating nature, and cherishing moments with her family and friends.
Mary is now reunited in Heaven with many beloved family members, including her husband, Richard; her sons, Richard Jr. and Peter; her grandson, Raymond; and her great-grandson, Lincoln. She is also reunited with her parents, Marcus and Rose Sutter, as well as her brother, Marcus Sutter, and her sister, Christine Schwind.
Mary is survived by her son, Mark (Kimberly) Andres; her daughters-in-law, Patricia (Doug) Andres-Reich and Cindie (Patrick) Andres-Allett; six grandchildren: John, Heather, Bradd, Bryan, Bridgette, and Barbara; and ten great-grandchildren: Caden, Corbin, Hayden, Cohen, Ashtin, Ava, Andrew, Izac, Delaney, and Norah.
A visitation for Mary will be held Monday, December 9, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kaul Funeral Home, 35201 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM.
