Although I had only a few brief encounters with Mrs. Spear, I was able to immediately appreciate her charming personality and lively spirit. She was an amazing woman and an inspiration to me. I will miss seeing her smiling face. But she will always be my oldest patient and I will continue to brag about her. I'm sorry I could not make it to the service but may God give her peace. Sending hugs and prayers to Pam, Sue and the rest of the family.
With love,
Dharti Sheth MD

Mary, your life was like a river flowing peaceful and deep
For 102 years, you have gathered wisdom to keep
In a heart full of memories gleaned over those precious years
You have nurtured a family whose daily love appears
When they look into your eyes they know that it is true
God must have spent a little more time on you!
You were born in 1919, avoiding the Spanish Flu
God kept you in safe keeping; He had work for you to do
You have lived through Covid , masked and 6' apart
Holding your loving family deep down in your heart .
Your last breath did not say "Good-bye"; your spirit lives on
Leaving treasured memories to share when you are gone.
You will meet again in a land where farewell is never spoken
You will hold your family with a clasp that will not be broken !

Mary/Grandma in my mind was always the leader and example to the most awesome family I have ever had the pleasure to know..She was a Teacher of how to live life to the fullest. She had a wise saying for so many things..We all use them daily and we teach them to the rest of the world. She always had a smile on her face and it lit up the room or the family gatherings of which there were so many. She has left behind a family that will spread her beauty inside and out to the rest of the world. Most of all I am thankful for the time I had to be with her and her family. Through her and them I learned about the togetherness of family. She is already missed but her light will always shine bright through the family that share her Legacy. Much love to all of them....
