Mike’s passion for knowledge and having a deeper understanding of the world around him led him to become a fervent believer in God. He was a skilled carpenter who enjoyed woodworking and creating. Nature and the love of the outdoor adventure endorsed his hobbies of walleye fishing, mushroom hunting and boating with his family. Throughout his life he had many different motorcycles, but one thing stayed consistent; the love of the open road ahead.

Always a joyful young man. As I grew up as a younger cousin, Michael was soft spoken and always ready for a laugh as we ran about our grandparents farm. God bless his family during this very difficult time.

Cousin Mike also shared a passion for quality firearms good conversations, love of family and friends. After a day of shooting nothing finished the day like a good bon-fire. He was always there if you needed him, there was nothing he could or would not do if it were in his power to do so. He always had a pleasant experience to share with you and our talks and shooting times will surely be missed, but always remembered. My world was blessed and was a better place for sharing time with him as well as the rest peoples souls he touched. And he always was a fan of a quality 1911 . God's speed cousin Mike.
