So sad to hear about Mike's passing. I met Mike through my brother Bob back in the late 60s, they both went to the same high school. I liked Mike right away and we all hung around in the neighborhood with a great bunch of friends, like the old TV show Happy Days. It felt more like a big family and Mike was like the Fonzie in the group. Through our teen years many good memories were made playing baseball and football in Mike's backyard on Eastwood. I learned how to play euchre in Mike's humongous garage, which became our local hangout for a while. As we got older the memories continued at Big Bills and Gilbert's, again Mike was like a beacon that attracted his friends and patrons through the doors. For about the last 25 years or so I and many of Mikes old friends lost contact with Mike but I don't think any of us lost the warm friendship we feel for Mike. My condolences to Mike's family. Rest in Peace my old friend.

My condolences on your loss.  Mike was a big part of my life many years ago at a very young age.  He will always be in my heart as I am sure he is in yours.  Great to hear he had so many grandkids and I hope he spent much time with them and  they filled his heart with love.  He is at peace now.
